Everything was done exceptionally well. The attention to detail was more than we hoped for, and our instructions were followed to the letter. We were amazed that every single planting was preserved despite considerable work being done within inches of them.
I had mentioned to Steve that our day lilies were prized plants of my grandfather, and the crew treated them with the same respect that we do. Although they’re hearty plants, it was if someone “dropped the stonework and steps into place’ without disturbing a blade of grass. We understand how much care and skill that takes.
You guys have earned our complete respect. Many companies claim that they do work like this, and you’re the first ones (for us) to deliver 100% on that promise.

Dear Julie and Steve, Michael and I are overwhelmed at your generosity and willingness to work with us on this landscaping project. When Mike called me to tell me the estimate for landscaping my heart sank. I told him there was not enough money left in our “moving/new house” budget to cover those costs and that we would have to just do the best we can ourselves and try to save up for a spring landscaping project. We love our new home and we feel very blessed to own it, but as you can tell the landscaping has been neglected for some time and is very overwhelming for us. I asked Mike if there was anything that could be done on a barter basis or just do what was most important and see if we could lower the price that way.
When Mike called me back after talking with Steve, he was almost in tears. Mike told me that Steve had called back with a barter offer before he even had the chance to ask. You have no idea what a huge weight this takes off our shoulders! We made the decision to move after much prayer. We believe that God wanted us to move closer to the church so that we would be in community with other believers and be a witness for Christ to our neighbors. We always said that this house was a tool for God to use to do ministry in and through. There have been a number of challenges in getting this house, but we have felt God’s protection and provision along the way. We have grown tremendously in our relationship with God during this process- Mike and I joked that our house might have been the most “prayed-over” purchase in history! We can’t wait to get moved in and begin to share our blessings with those around us. Thank you again; we are praising God for this unexpected blessing and for all His provision!
